These cd's are from the conference in September 2009 based on the book written by James Halliday "Prayer - The Masters Key".

Dear Saint,

As you read through this book, I hope it will serve as a simple reminder of the wonder of a gift the scripture calls 'prayer'. I read the words of others who have enjoyed great adventures in their prayer experience and I always feel inspired to pray more and seek the Lord for His abounding goodness. However, the experiences of others only motivates my prayer life for a short period. Too often I have started well, only to find my best efforts thwarted by my humanity and the business and distractions of life.

The reason I have bought many books on this subject over the years, is because they are always helpful. But my conclusion is that another person's writing on prayer can do little more than point the way or encourage the person who set their heart upon this holy pilgrimage. I don't think prayer can ever truly be taught by men. It can be modeled and we can share with others in a real attempt to grease the wheels. But true prayer doesn't flow from the head. It must come from a far deeper place. Prayer flows from the headwaters within, where our relationship with God begins. All engagement with God flows from this place and it is not really understood by our mind but rather interpreted by our spirit.

Prayer is a spiritual in essence. It is more than words and sometimes cannot be expressed in words. Prayer is the breath of God and the breath of our life, merging in a way that is eventually understood by both. Because of its nature, prayer can only be taught by the spirit of God. All else are signposts and guides along the way that lead us ultimately to an encounter with Him.

Prayer is intimate in nature. To limit our prayer life to a list of needs is to rob ourself and God of the pleasure of deep and meaningful relationship. Within the pages of this guide, it is my prayer that you might encounter Him in a more intimate way. If this is the outcome, then the hours taken to write it will have been worthwhile.
